july 22, 2007, 7:22pm, bored...
so... i guess i'm still at my low point...
it's not that i can't understand what's wrong, it's just that sometimes, you'd rather supress these realities and cover them all up. i can't stand the harshness of life but hell... hahaha. ang labo...
okay, so i've decided to go back to my jock lifestyle... yep. varsity, here i come... but i do have a problem.... i'm torned...
i decided to try out for softball. a slot was available and i thought i might like it there... softbll was somewhat a natural sport for me... i find it easy to study and practice (albeit the rigorous training and the so called discipline imposed upon players) and i think i have the potential. hahaha. yabang... i was set to go and try softball until my teammate from vball asked me to try and go back to the team... shit. that was it. hahaha. i had some really rough times with the team but i can't deny the fact that i'm really flattered and that i started doubting my decision. it's clear to my former teammate that i want to transfer to softball. i know it's somewhat impolite and unethical but i really like the idea. i'm not sure if i'm up to the challenge of transferring but heck, i'll take the risk. i really want to go back somewhere and at the same time start from scratch... volleyball has been my life for the past so-so years of my gradeschool and highschool life and well, i do owe a lot to the varsity.
with my experience in the team, i'm really not quite sure what to expect if ever i do go back or if i don't. i had a good relationship with our coach but a sloppy one with my teammates. it hurts to say this, but i don't think i could ever go back to how things were before. ang hirap talaga eh. i'm up for both sports but i can't seem to really choose... hahaha.... ang labo ko... paulit-ulit.... anyway, i can't do anything. i really do have to choose between the two... it's not like we're from the us, pwede 2... hahaha.... i have until tuesday to decide. until then, i'd have to do some more soul searching and end up with the correct decision.

procrastinate babehhh...
8:52pm, monday, cafe
so here's a quick entry:
it's been a while since i last entered anything here and it's because i don't have my pc... it's been hectic for me as well as i'm a little "college-bound" you see. i can't get quite creative as panicking's on my mind right now... hahaha.... i really do sound disturbed right? it's mainly because of stress and well, having to give up a lot of things without regaining anything from these glory days i've left behind. the future's ahead and uncertainty's setting in. there's no familiarity amidst these faces of people i see everyday and instead, they have been exchanged by my own psychological doubts, scares and sorrows. I really don't know what my doom would be at the end of this school year but i know i'm destined to serve. i might not get what i want now but i'll have my time... rejection's been a good companion but it's God's compassion that keeps me up. till we meet again beloved blog...

rev runs...
tuesday, 1:23pm, lost track of date...maybe may something.
okay, so far, i haven't got any time to do this blogging. i sort of stopped at nothing so i'll probably start at nothing as well. summer's still a bummer. it's boring as hell and all i got was this weird tan out of commuting way too frequently. man, how i wish my tan was from boracay or from a surfing exped in siargao. i sure miss being a beach bum. enough of summer... it's too boring anyway... i have found things about myself these past weeks that sort of scared the hell out of me.
i might kill myself for posting this but hey, i've done enough mishaps, this won't do much. these past weeks, i have been constantly reminded of my weird prom night and well, my date. i sort of don't know where it all started but i frequently think of him. (oh man, i can't believe i'm posting this for the world to see.) i can't quite figure out if i like him or not but well, i ended up concluding that maybe something is really happening and then, i had this dream. i can vividly remember i was out with him (on my dream) with my friend who's somewhat evil in a way and that i was too clingy with him. yes... i was sitting so close to him, holding his hand and all. it's sounds pretty gross now that i think of it (the way i acted i mean, my prom date's too damn good looking if you're wondering). then i saw him make a face and sort of communicated with my evil friend which made me feel like i was a big joke. it was scary.
the reason i was so scared was because it happened frequently with most guys i liked. i ended up dreaming that i was just a bet or that they didn't like me or that i was their way to get to know another friend. i'm not so sure if it is insecurity on my part or instinct that's telling me, he's not the one...
i do like him but after having the dream, i sort of ended up doubting myself, my intentions and his intentions. i want to be just good friends and nothing more. the only thing that worries me is that maybe i am walking on my one-way street, that it's only me who likes the guys and that no one's really recuperationg, responding or reacting - that maybe i created everything up. man, i'm really scared of my dreams i think i need to go see a doctor. in the meantime, i really will, for my ucky pimples... they formed into big blemishes/rashes. it's degrading, humiliating and plain icky... man, i wish derma could heal this.

on breakdowns and summer bummers
thursday, 5:36pm, may sumtyn'sumtyn'
okay, so pc's still broken, spent a FORTUNE renting computers and ending up on the internet only thrice this summer. wow. but you see, i've been busy so gluing my eye on the screen was inadvertently avoidable.
i spend my whole summer lounging at first, possibly gaining weight, and well at the very start (and take note, it literally was at the start) of summer, hopelessly pining for a text message and devoting all my moolahs and sleep for an undeserving nitwit. (yeah, i'm still cool with him but i ain't gonna waste my time trying to if he doesn't want to) what's with boys and thinking that being friends with girls have to have next steps that they either want or despise? i make friends alright, but i always stay on that level, i don't assume. oh well, i guess i'm just pretty bitter about it but heck, i'm enjoying not having to spend cash on load where i only end up with a hi or sup or nyt or any other three-letter word he could come up with. hahaha. plus, summer's all about looking... wahahaha!
s0, i ended up having to go to school this summer for training! (hell yeah! i don't need to gain weight!)unfortunately, i ended up training while all my batchmates had their butts glued in armchairs for review. i do feel bad for myself, because i saw how bankrupt i was because of this situation. but, atleast, if i pass ateneo or up or any other school, it would mean i was good. it'll have a bigger impact because i didn't have any help. take that einstein! i'll also be a genius! hahahha!
aside from volleyball (where i ended up feeling stepped on, humiliated, backstabbed, regretted, and dumbfounded), i also ended up dancing. yes, i've come to love my talent. hahaha! i was contacted one unusual day and ended up meeting co-dancers and coaches and choreographers and actually realizing that i had just entered another world. (you see, when you get into a hobby and end up seeing yourself with the pros, you'll see that they have their own little world and that everyone's connected. i've seen badminton's, vball's and now, dance's!) hahahaha.
so there, i ended up with a hectic summer, no vacation at all, empty wallets, and jampacked varsity bags...

hell year...
friday, 2nd of March, 6:42 when it ought to be somewhere around 7 pm.
as my blog might have felt abandoned for the past weeks i have never entered any new post, i now am writing a new one. i never intended to really not write anything for the past month but it just so happens that it was one hellufa month, stress kept worsening. (forgive me for my formal sounding writing style but i have noticed that i grew more mature in writing and the kubeta smell in this crowded internet cafe bothers me...) just to update, i did have a lot of things done this past weeks i have not logged. the motherboard of my ratty and old pc just exploded and now i have to make do with unruly pc renters in a "ok" cafe plus, i was planning to use bluetooth except for the fact that i couldn't because this bad cafe doesn't have any. (crap, crap, crap!) i finally had my first "now this is a soiree" soiree with a nice section from admu and found new friends. i came to my very first ateneo fair and my first legacy concert in years. i now have regular load in my phone and we're on our way to the semis in volleyball. (yey!) just to clear the time, it's now 7.37. back to my infos, i had my prom. (yey! let's go into details later) and our group won the science congress (unexpectedly... i now am bagging 2 congress titles.. i'm getting good at it!). okay... so many things to update but i'll just ponder on a few key events: science congress, prom, p.e.!(swimming!), my free pontefino getaway and all these other stuff. so... let's start!
ayyyy.... prom was really weird... hahaha. i woke up late and went to a salon. i really hated the idea of prepping up plus, they made me look like i prepared... kainis!my hair was overrated, makeup was not what i wanted and they shaved my brows! and then, my polish pa... grabe! but the event was fun. dancing was really good! hahaha. i had to teach my date (found one! take that guidicelli!) and teach some batchmates who saw me doing the l.a. walk (i was shocked when i saw people following my dance steps... hahaha! call me a d.i.!) yeck. the end was really weird. it was like this.
my cousin (he went to the prom with a classmate): ches, tara, alis na tayo. sabay lang tayo kay jake eh.
me: hah? eh, alis na tayo? andyan na ba yung sundo sa harap?
cousin: oo, halika na.
me: uy, robby, alis na daw kami.
date: talaga? alis ka na? (parang ganyan)
me: yep. okay lang?
date: ah, oh sige...
me: sorry...
date: okay lang..
me: sige, bye...
date: bye...
me: thanks...
sabay alis.
that was a nice way to end the prom don't you think??? it was awkward... so i'm really sorry (robby! sorry!) hahahaha. oh well, it was a nice day.
science congress...
pre-prom, i was expecting to help put up decors and then my teacher called me and she needed the group to rewrite the paper again and we were pulled out. turns out, our easy-playing group got the shot at the finals of the congress. crap. probably the top girls in the batch would die to get that opportunity while our group was practically begging to not. unfortunately, we had to do otherwise. so, come the afternoon of that same day, i was practically sulking in front of the lab computer trying to edit the paper to make it appear as if it was geniusly done. FYI, my group members left me alone because they had no transpo. as much as i felt bad for myself, i was also feeling bad for them because they had to feel so bad about not doing anything and still take credit. albeit the stress, wednesday after prom was the d-day. our group did the best we could that time to pretend we know half of what we're saying and luckily, the judges bought it. haha. nice one...so, congress was this and by the way, did i mention we were competing against my cousin's group? talk about pressure.
this is parctically not in chronological order hence, i have decided to put a part two. to have a sneak preview of part two, i'll have a video posted dedicated to an event in my no post weeks... here's daft punk interstellar 5555 (you know who you are. you introduced me to this and i find it nice... i'm getting hooked XP. thanks dude!)
in the meantime, here i am, signing out.

A crammer's got to do what a crammer's got do...HUH?
Monday, 4:48 pm, JANUARY 15, 19 days before the prom
i'm sitting in front of the computer, wondering wha' d' hell went wrong...
... and thinking that a "ghetto" accent sounds weird on me...
welcome to another day in a crammer's life. i still don't have a prom date but well, i have advancements... i now have many prospects and a half-day prom date.
you see, by now i would've had a prom date if i didn't hear a comment that was well, scary. and if i didn't hear the comment, well, i may be making a mistake...(is that grammatically correct? sounds heinous..) so anyway, prospects are here but it still is hard to look for the prom date. ayayay... but it's not anybody's fault... it's my fault talaga. hahaha. people say i have too high standards. hehehe.
anyway, i told you i would be updating you guys with our game scheds right? our second game yesterday was against STC. hahaha. we won! yay! but we gave away one set when we could've won 2 sets to none. hahaha. we will be having our game this week in ateneo, against st. joseph i think. hahaha. by then, i probably have a prom date... hahaha.
parting words from your crammer (who can't formulate logical and grammatically correct sentences today. must be because tests started. yay.):
life isn't all that bad when you really don't have anything to lose even if you want to. hahahaha!
hoping i'll have a better post next week and a real prom date...

welcome competitions!
sunday, 7:50 pm, january 7, 2007, 27 days before the prom
today's the official opening of the women's volleyball league. my team has been competing for ages but NOT going up a higher notch when it comes to the division. well, we're pretty stuck at being developmental players. haha. anyhow, today was the opening ceremony and our first game. we're with many other teams and had to compete with St. Scholastica Manila of all schools FIRST. ayayay... we lost BADLY against them during our PISCUAA competition so we were jittery though we know they're only team b and we lost to team a. haha! it was anice game, started off close and then we won first set. second set was a different story. we were behind by around 7 to 8 average points for most of the game and got tied somewhere at 17 or 18 and ended up at 24 assumption and 20 them and we made a mistake and they caught up at 24 - 22 then we won. hahaha!!! man! TWO SETS TO NONE! I was pretty ecstatic. next game's on January 14 at 9.30 in the morning in Xavier. We'll be playing at the gargantuan high school covered courts! hahaha... our team's wearing white with royal blue trimmings and yellow almost gold sleeves. hahaha. super specific. WVL had given us a good start and we're praying that at least we'll have a good game with STC. They were the team we lost against during the championships in GALS last year. susmaryosep. hahaha.
enough of the newspaper typeof writing, let me tell you all about the opening and the free milo.
i woke up late as usual, and i had to prepare everything because we came from a wedding yesterday. my eyes got red from taking out the eyeliner (i hate make-up on my face. very itchy) and from having a short sleep. i arrived at xavier holding a flask filled with milo when i saw that they were giving it for free. hahahaha. crap. i panicked when i saw how many teams were participating and when i couldn't see my team. hahaha. turns out, they're late. no one listened to the opening ceremony and we were all anxious to see madel penero when we found out san beda rizal's participating. hahaha. i saw a friend from rosehill also competing and guess what? we'll be playing against them after the prom. RIGHT AFTER the prom. Feb. 3's our prom and the game's on Feb. 4 at 8:45 am. talk about a jam-packed sched. my coach also brought his son who was really nice to all of us. a big shout out to him and my beloved equally friendly teammates. hahahahahaha. grabe talaga, super busy schedule. hahaha. i know i'm not the official website for WVL but i'll be updating my stories as a varsity player. won't be thinking bout prom anymore, i just might not attend. haha.
a big shout out to all the teams! and if i'm missing one, please add yours on the comments and i'll gladly edit this post! hope we all have fun playing!

a day in the life of Cheska the crammer

thursday dec. 28, 2006 11:03 pm
life can't get any better. haaay.
it can get worse though. hay.
so, i'm spending the last few days of my liberties and my much needed or probably excessive r & r and what a good way to spend it by realizing i have projects to finish and i can't even remember all of them. crap. hahaha.
i was pretty sure i planned this day yesterday quite perfect in the eyes of my assumption teachers. i was supposed to wake up, take a bath, look up things in the internet, talk to my classmates and do all my homework but as they say, things don't happen the way you planned it to be so i ended up lying around all day, eating too much food and harassing my beloved poodle who hated me for an hour today. (she didn't want her pictures taken)
i guess holidays do make you lazy or at least it makes me lazy. my mom has been scolding me the whole christmas vacation and complaining about unwashed dishes, dirty clothes, unfixed rooms and stuff like that. i'm feeling pretty guilty but it's just so hard to brush off my holiday spirits. oh God, please help me...
so this was my day, much sleeping, probably a little snoring, too much eating, worrying, lounging and feeling guilty without acting upon that guilt. hahaha. by the way, part of my cramming experience was looking for a prom date. matteo? (man, i look so freaky already. but i'm honestly normal, promise! i tend to look like a "weng-weng" when i'm pressured or stressed)
much love and food

merry CHRISTMAS!

Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006 10:59pm
Happy holidays! hahaha. finally, something good to talk about. weehoo!
finally! school was over last december 21 and i tell you, it was one hellufa good day.
you see, it all started during the vigil, our school had another vigil before the vacation and we sort of had fun with it! hahaha. people were "snoozing" in the middle of the chants and i was busy singing my heart out. hahaha. talk about being faithful! but really, the vigil was fun, it was some sort of "change" from my usual catholic routines plus, we had free dinner, drink all you can hot choco, a weird breakfast and a chance to "up" our gmrc! hahaha. enough. after the vigil, me and my drowsy friends went to a charity or some sort of gift giving in a hospital in qc and man oh man! it rocked! we were with some other girls from daniw and they were really friendly! (a big shout out to my new found friends! HI!!!) it was fun especially when i got introduced to a very familiar girl - turns out she was a competitor of mine in gals last year. hahaha. pretty amazing, i tell you. after our hospital charity with daniw (also with the breakfast care of tita moppet - thanks! and the lunch!), we went to an orphanage way back in the mountain or hill of anipolo were our dear vigil started. hahaha! the kids were amazing! we spent around 20 mins. sleeping in the car before we started playing with the kids then we entered their humble home and the rest was history. the kids were pretty rowdy but you can't help but love them! they were so sweet and nice and you'll really feel their happiness! hahaha! it was so fun playing with them! and the babies were sooo cute! i was the only one who had the chance to enter the nursery and play with the babies! it was really, really worth the lack of sleep! hahaha.
and the dreaded "way home"...
after visiting good shepherd, most of the group rode with mu (a friend). hahaha. she was going to drop me off in katipunan with the other guys and i was supposed to commute from there! hahaha! it was a weird experience. i'm no commuter and i had to commute on my own at night when i couldn't even cross a road! hahaha. luckily, i arriced home safely. hahahaha.
by the way, i forgot to tell you i did all this without taking a bath! (alongside friends mu and alys!) hahaha! forgive us! we got so busy with the charity work we didn't have enough time to bathe! hahaha. at least we smelled quite good the whole day. hahahaha
then christmas came.
noche buena was my favorite part. i'd choose eating a kilo of suahe (shrimp) than receive gifts. hahaha! it was a sad thing that i couldn't drink softdrinks. thus, i ended up smelling them and drinking buko juice instead. yey for buko juice! hahaha. christmas was alright except for the occasional food shortage (we ran out of chicken and baked mac). too bad not everyone spent their christmas as nicely as we did. (charity made a softee out of me. hahaha.)
and as the new year approaches...
i'd probably be shivering to death, chattering my teeth, hiding in a corner with my poodle. hahaha. i just found out i haven't completely removed my fear of fireworks. hehehe. kidding aside, i'd be prom dateless (still) but happy. hahahaha.
so here's francheska letisha wishing you all a very very happy new year (plus my traditional kung hei fat choy!) and hope your food will be as good as our dinuguan at puto. hehehe.
thank God for 2006 and spend your new year wisely! (i'd be spending my whole month of january looking for my prom date. hahaha. matteo?)

yakult's better than beer. hahaha. labo.

sunday, december 17, 2006, 12:11pm
hahaha. first soiree, probably the last for this year, and still quite unsure what a soiree really is. hahaha! it is pretty weird, being late, leaving early, being with 4 boys and we're like 20? hahaha.
anyway, i don't think it's nice being honest to your parents. they kept asking me questions about the party and about the boys and all i could tell them was, "ha?it was okay.". i really couldn't figure out what to say to them eh! hahaha. and since my blog's for public viewing, i'd rather be quiet than tell all the things i thought about during the party. (i was pretty nasty.. hahaha) wahahaha. anyway, the soiree still left me "promdateless" so there's nothing to be excited about the party right? hahahaha. enough with the soiree and let's talk about christmas.
i just found out that i was not being summoned to my coach's office for something bad but instead, was being summoned for kris kringle. yey. i don't really want to spend money and receive a gift but i have no choice, i have to buy something and receive a gift. hahahaha. and then i ran out of words, let's talk about prom...
CRAP! anong january 3? people told me i have to bring my gown on jan 3 or until jan "who cares" so the security ekek could check it. hala, i don't even know what to wear and then i have to show it na. susmaryosep. prom nga naman oh. and not to mention the date. just found out we're not allowed to go stag. naknaman oh! where the hell am i going to look for a promable? in the trash can? oh please matteo, i really need you to be my prom date now. hahaha. but really, puhleeasse!! this is to stressful, let's talk about cars.
Good news! just found out who owns the yellow hummer that i fell in love with. it's mon confiado's. (he's an actor) wow, man! i really love that jeep! wish i could have mine own someday! hahahaha.
so here's my life for the past few weeks, prom, school, hummer, soiree and kris kringles. life isn't as nice as i want it to be, it's not as boring though, but i still hope it's less stressful. i really need a prom date. hahahaha.
wishing finding a date is easy as finding that yellow hummer,

life's a ROLLER COASTER...

friday, DECEMBER (oh my gosh it's DECEMBER!!!) 1, 2006
10:55 am
fair just ended, people still tired, wasn't able to enjoy the fair much
haay. life couldn't get more bittersweet than this. thinking the fair was probably one of the few ways i could get "prom date prospects", i got myself all psyched up and well, i ended up working most of the time during the fair. while my friends were busy making friends and boys were busy running so they won't get caught, and while overly dressed high school girls were busy strolling around with their boylets acting as if they were flaunting their latest addition to their barbie collection (no offense to those girls, i'm pretty bitter...), i was in the grade 1-3 classroom or in a booth working or probably munching as fast as i could. hence, the school fair for me was practically just a big workload. man oh man. so much for having the best social life ever.
but then again...
on the other hand, all things you work hard for have a reward right? so here's mine. i was able to help the st. martin kids (these are the people we help...) and meet them! yey! i was able to have backstage passes for both the battle of the bands and the variety thus meeting OHMYGOSH!!!! almost all the bands!!! hahaha. sounds like a groupie-ish type of sound. hahahahaha! i was able to talk to bands like hilera, join the club, chicosci and some other peeps... double yey! plus, even if i didn't have much of a social life, people saw me perform, so i was easier to remember compared to others because i was the "girl who danced in the (fill in the blanks) part". see? i might've found my own type of social life.
but again...
that type of social life won't give me a prom date. even a prospect. i know it's pretty darn harsh to say that i desperately need a prom date, i actually do. you see, i have to dance during a presentation in the prom night itself. WITH MY PARTNER. i told my section head last wednesday that i don't have a "partner" and all she said was "well, you better find one" (not exactly but that was what's in my head). haay naku, the pressure's mounting. if only i could have matteo guidicelli as my prom date. or even just a guy who's going to be a really nice date...
oh man... i need a date...
but all's well that'll end well...
hopefully... i really do need a prom date and no one's giving any options. i have no guy friends and i wouldn't like the idea of bringing a relative to the prom. EWWWW. i guess i just have to wait and see, but if all else fail, i'll gather all the stag girls and treat them to an after prom slumber party...
though the idea sounds pretty good, i'd really like it better to have a prom date.

last hurrah.
monday, nov. 6, 2006, 4:17 pm, in front of the computer
well, this is the last day of my sem break. aww. i've noticed that i wasn't able to post anything for a couple of weeks so here goes a new post. just don't expect this to be über good and gramatically correct.
it sucks that nothing adventurous happened to me during my week of rest. really, it was pretty boring, no wow days, none at all, nada, wala, nothing. i thought it was going to be fun. turns out, the last few days of going to school before sem break will be the best days i'll have for that week and the next. hahaha. i thought i'll have a blast, finally going to a soiree, going to some hotel to just relax, going shopping, talking to friends and other things that proved i expected too much for a week of "should be remembering the dead". speaking of dead, i'm actually even disappointed that i didn't go to the cemetery! but, it ain't me who's to blame... it's my parents. hahaha. i guess, it's not really their fault, we were all busy and we usually go 29 days later than others. enough sourgraping, let's look at the fab things i was able to do with my boredom at home.
using my imagination:
- i guested (is this a correct term?) in Cito Beltran's straight talk pretending i was a world class surfer who endorses quicksilver and nivea's sunblock
- i pretended that i was in a soiree (although i fell asleep in the middle of imagining)
- i was the girlfriend of *ehem* (currently ranked fifth in ptcc accdg to slipstream, endorses pepsi and penshoppe)
- i kicked michael schumacher's butt in the Macau grand prix. hehehe. this was the best one.
using my tv:
- playstation... duh
- movies
- strawberry shortcake! (i love girly stuff)
- nick jr.
- betty la fea and letty la mas fea (yep, i was desperate!)
- arirang
- and all other channels that's on cable tv
-watching slipstream, stoplight and then tyson sy, michelle bumgarner, gaby de la merced and moreno soeprapto (not sure), batistini, ali jackson and other racers compete in AF3 yesterday in BRC (batangas racing circuit)
using my phone
- i don't use my phone. hahaha
hahahaha. i did way way more things than these but i'll just make you sleep. i guess my sem break wasn't as bad as i thought it was. hey, my sem break still isn't over, maybe myscene.com will just do the trick of making it a blast. hehehe

when the going gets tough, the tough makes lemonade
August 29, 2006
7:36pm Philippines
people say that when you're too happy, everything wil suddenly turn ugly..hah, maybe it's true... oh well.
i just turned sixteen (yey! now i can drive!) and man oh man, it ain't no sweet thang turning sixteen!!! it turns out i have a lot to do, not that it has anything to do with my birthday but hey, it still is one hellufa task to pass tons of projects... i'm not sure how things will go as the quarter passes by pero at least, i'm coping up with things... woohooo!!!!
okay, i haven't posted in a while so here are the top things that happened while i forgot to go to the internet:
>just turned a year older
>broke my finger, the left pinky
>first sleepover! (thanks mu!)
>first time to go out with no certain means of transpo!!!
>i have never drank softdrinks for like, AGES!
>i played basketball
>my bro just joined a battle of the bands event (quite shocking)
>and still, haven't seen matteo
ahahahaha. okay, so nothing happened to me that much but my life has been rockin' amidst the not-so-good episodes in the OC and my "huh?-wahtda..-ohcrap-zzz!" life in the classroom.
okay, so i now have to go back and spend too much time studying or else i'll fail. hahaha.

PS - by the way, if any of you know good party bands or belongs to one, please give me your contact number, i need it badly. ahahahahaha.

wack. wack. wack.
my weekend stinks.
my brother broke my oh-so-beloved guitar case, i'm feeling so stressed with all the "toopid" homeworks and i haven't gone out with friends for decades. (okay, maybe i was exaggerating on the last part but hey, that's how it feels..) i just took the stress test found in a seventeen mag i bought last week and woah man, i had the worst case. School's not helping either. homeworks given are so unclear i can't decipher where i should start, i have to bring a guitar and my training stuff every thursdays and i have to climb quite a lot of flight of stairs and it ain't helping me grow tall. argh. i wish i was back in kindergarten where things are way much easier and where you celebrate your classmate's b-day the whole day.
but it's not so bad to feel stressed. or having a blah weekend.
unusually, i woke up in high spirits today after sleeping mid-part of my nightly prayer. prayers do help you know. hahaha.
i'm not pretty sure what to say right now so i'll just end it here.

Petra Chuchupekwa
July 6,2006 Thursday 8:29pm
School's no fun. Hahaha. really, it's getting tougher and harder every week. i usually sleep in Geometry class, doodle during chemistry and talk during world history. it's just really making everything worse. but oh well, jinglebell. looking at the brighter side, at least i get to play football, softball and volleyball. hahaha.
all in all, things are actually pretty good these days, even with all the crap i get from going to school and training at the same time. my busmates are fun, although their probably the main reason why i can't sleep on our way home, they're pretty much the people you'll hang out with when you just want to shout out all your stress and frustration. aside from that, i have the murderers behind my back. they're always there to save me a seat, comfort me and keep my secrets. hehehe.
speaking of busmates, they've always been very happy about how i use ptre chuchupekwa as my alias. i got it from some band on tv. it was originally pedro chuchupekwa but hey, every man's got to have a girl aight? hahaha. petra chuchupekwa has a catchy "thing", pretty much like the fettucine (pardon me if the spelling's wrong) my busmates tagged matteo. hahaha. oh well, it's just how it is.
[IRIS playing on my background, Rockstar supernova in star world]
iris is making me shift to a pretty sentimental mood right now... reminds me of pretty much everything cheesy and mushy. like maria clara's crisostome ibarra, leonora's jose rizal and juliet's romeo - why can't everything be just kiddy-ish again? too much love's making me laugh!
okay, i know i'm not making any sense right now but please, just understand that i'm pretty much deteriorating psychologically. i'm really not making any sense so i'll stop now okay? just wait for a better post this weekend, mostly about football.
by the way, France vs Italy on the finals! go France! (even if i was rooting for Brazil..teehee!)

Pile before Pele
hahaha. today's Tuesday, 7:41 pm, a few minutes before one tree hill
Pile before Pele? pretty weird. I KNOW. it's just that things are piling up in school -- homeworks, projects, quizzes and the list goes on. There isn't just enough time for me to watch FIFA! the long awaited football season there is in the history of kicked balls. See? Pile of homeworks before descendants of Pele (the greatest football player there is!). hahaha. but to be honest, it seems i'm the only one who can't really feel too much pressure. it seems everyone's complaining about too many assignments but if you ask me, it's just three. yeah, i know the homeworks are really tough but hey, everything feels good once you're done right? it's just a matter of optimism -- something we really need now that we're in our junior year!
Junior Year... ahhh, the year where your grade matters most since it is the indication whether or not you'll get into a good college (for some who cares) and the year that you're hoping you'll have less breakouts and more "uuy! blooming" comments. Speaking of "blooming" i just realized many of our batchmates "evolved" instead of "bloomed". haha. no really, there are a lot who colored their hair (btw, it looks good, it's just that it's not allowed) and the daily use of tints and blush thingies (for confused peeps: make-up). it's not that i have something against these people that i see these minor changes too much but it's just really nice when you see these girls, the ones that usually had juice on their blouses, spaghetti stains on their skirts and tangled hair back in the good 'ol days; are now the cleanest creatures you've ever seen. hahaha. man i wish i could be a little girly, but then, i'd be way over perky.
Okay being all glammed up reminded me again about prom. Haay... kelan ba maaalis sa utak ko yun? Sometimes I just really wish we're not allowed to bring prom dates. Prom dates are hard to find, really. Their somehow like looking for the "right one", they have to be your best bet if you want to have an easy time with your oh-so-tight dress and your thousand-inch heels. I just really wish i could bring matteo, but then again, it's too impossible. But i bet i'll have a good time with him. hahaha.
Okay, too much talk less work. I've got to find the three letters Rizal wrote about Noli... man... homework sucks... hehehehe...

Weekend
Hahahaha! It's Saturday!
2:10 pm
This weekend's a very special one. Peeps during the first day of classes can't take their mind of disney's high school musical and neither can I. It was so much anticipated by almost everybody just because it was already shown during commercials mid-summer. I can't wait for tomorrow!
You see, I've always been a Disney fan. I was very much into becoming a Disney talent (secretly) when I was a kid. I even thought that maybe I could be the voice of Mulan's baby in the future when I found out Lea Salonga was Mulan's singing voice. I was pretty much a big fan. I grew up watching the Disney princesses and now that Disney's bigger, I'm pretty much into watching the whole channel. Well, hopefully, time will fly by and maybe I'd be able to watch the High School Musical earlier than I expected. Heehee.

It's been WAY too long
May 3, the last time I entered a post
June 23, the second time. 9:18 pm, Philippines
Many things happened after leaving for Pangasinan for my lolo's burial. One good thing about the changes were the constant compliments I got from relatives far from where I live. Hahaha. Talk about affirmation.
Upon reaching Manila after the trip, things got haywire. Phone cut off, PLDT was slow at repairing and reconnecting the line, their stupid new SOP's that even Einstein would hate and the long month of absence from my Friendster account, this blog and my oh-so-favorite, MYSCENE. After that vacation, it was pretty much busy. Training, summer reading program, trips to National Bookstore and the constant "oh my! wala pa akong prom date" talk with friends. I know, prom isn't everything but it's the only happy non-academic staple there is in third year life. The rest of a junior's life would be books and the constant white hair appearance and for some, pimple breakouts.
Prom.
I never knew it came from the word Promenade. hahaha. well, I did but it wasn't a long time ago when I thought that prom was simply a four letter, non-shorcut word. (forgive me for my grammar or maybe my malapropisms...) hahaha. Prom isn't really that big of a deal for me because i have a bigger chance of going stag than hoping Matteo Guidicelli can be my prom date.
Him.
Oh my, did I just blurted that out? hahaha! Maybe, this post would end up in the wrong hands or maybe good ones so just to be clear, let me explain why i like "him". Matteo had always been an inspiration, not the yucky, musshy sort of inspiration but the "wow! I wish I was him" admiration. He's a champion karter, I loved cars. I wanted to pursue F1 racing, I think he did too. So everything started from that. Then, everybody found out about him. What the?!! Turns out he's also a model. The first issues of teen magazines he appeared on became his steeping stone on many girls' hearts but mine was different, it was his racing.
Racing.
Aha. My dad actually doubted I was a girl when he saw how much I loved cars, basketball, football (soccer), eating and getting dirty a lot. I know it's a joke so I don't really ponder on it that much. But really, i love these things. I'm your usual girly girl, I shop a lot, uses makeup when needed (i have skin asthma) and talks about boys. Even my main sport's pretty girly, I'm a volleyball varsity player so it pretty much added up to the "perkiness" my friends connect with me. You see, I'm just all about balance, I'm never satisfied mastering the other side, I have to master everything and it just so happens that I find my tough and pinky side goes so perfectly well together.
Friends.
I thought this year was going to be with the Twodettes, my classmates since freshman year. Our school semi-blocks sections and I thought, "hey, I'm pretty average so maybe I'm going to be stuck with them". Too much comfort I say, the next thing I knew, I was dispatched to another section only to find out I was the only twodette to remain in our old classroom and the only twodette to be transferred without anyone on my side. Talk about being a loner. It's hard to adjust especially when you grew up with certain friends. It's hard to move on when you're trying to get the most out of highschool because you know that you have to move on in college. It's hard to accept the fact that I'm no longer a twodette, maybe in heart and maybe because I'm still in section two that I will still be considered one; but I'm no longer a part of their class, and that I have to be part of another strongly-bonded section.
My section's nice and all, but I really don't feel as welcome. I don't get their jokes when they start to feel a sense of nostalgia, I don't know where to go when we're asked to group by friends and I can't open up when they ask me if I'm okay. I'm a little too formal now, I no longer can goof around and burp all I want in the classroom, I can't shout good morning murderers once I step inside the room and I can't even say love you guys! whenever I want now. Maybe it's better that I'm not with friends and I can solely focus on my studies and transcript but emotionally, I'm a wreck. But don't worry, it's nobody's fault. It's me who has to change.
Change.
Wow. that was pretty dramatic! anyway, change is going to be constant this year. Just last week, I met cousins fromt the US, Stephanie, Noelle and Paul. They're really nice but I wish to get to know them better. Ate Noelle's been very friendly and was actually surprising. She told me that her brother's girlfriend was Suite Life of Zack and Cody's Brenda Song and that was really shocking. I've never met Brenda and I only see her on tv and now, she's my cousin's special someone! WOW. That's a big change! Another change would have to be my club this year, I decided to take a risk and try out for all the clubs I've always wanted to try and I'm hoping I could join or pass at least one of them. Haahahaahaha.
My dad's asking me if I'm finished with using the internet. Although I'm not yet finished, I'll give way hoping you guys would still have the patience to read my future posts. hahaha rock on guys...
P.S.
If ever this falls into the hand of Matteo Guidicelli, will you be my prom date?
I'm your usual girly girl, I shop a lot, uses makeup when needed (i have skin asthma) and talks about boys. random
wow... it's my first post! today's may 3... 1.01pm and it's pretty hot...
i ate left-over spaghetti for lunch. yeah i know, it's so fun when the left-over food's something yummy like spaghetti but i was having a bad case of hyper acidity so eating isn't fun...
and to think it was my beloved lola's birthday yesterday.
which leads me to something rather deeper than my acidity crisis and spaghetti...
for the past few days i was having premonitions or some weird feeling... something that concerns death. i know, this ain't a fun way to start your blog but i just have to do this. death in the family to be specific. not my death (obviously, because i strongly believe i would live up to a hundred or more years old), but my lola's. yeah, i know it's freaky since it happened to a classmate... dreams, psychic achuchus... but mine was just strong gut feeling. but i'm no psychic, which was proven when my lola told me that her only living brother out of the 8 or something siblings she have, has just died. wow. talk about strong gut feelings.
pretty scary how i felt death was coming... i'd never want to feel this again, NEVER. it's just to scary and hard. and premonitions are for people like madam auring... not me.
I"M NOT GIFTED...
hahaha. so if you're reading this now, please be nice enough to pray for him...
okay, change topic... the word random came to my thoughts as i was fixing the settings of this blog. random was the alias given to a friend of mine, richel. gosh, i miss my friends! random was how i wanted this blog to be. and random was the best positive description i have for my summer.
summer wasn't nice to me. but atleast i have pinipig popsicle to beat the heat. and the marikina sports park to stay active.
hahaha. jogging. what a way to spend summer. to honestly tell you, i only jog because of varsity reasons. i didn't want to look like a siopao among the slender athletic girls that are my team mates. hahaha.
siopao. i'm not very fond of siopao. i think i'm more of a siomai and buchi girl. and i think i prefer japanese food better than chinese....
japanese food. hmmm.. reminds me of soapdish's tensionado. i saw them in myxilog earlier, their videos were typical soapdish videos (malamang) and the sushi bar in the tensionado video made me hungry... and eating japanese food reminds me of the oc cast.
oc. i know, oc doesn't have anything to do with jap food but i remember the characters ordering thai food all the time. it was fun... it was different to the usual chinese take-out you see on tv.
tv. the tv's on, no one's watching and i only turned it on because i'm scared to be alone. hahaha!
hahahaha. a word i use to end all my sentences.
end. this is pretty long and my internet credit's getting short. i have to end this entry now.
gotta go cheerios...
